With tax day right around the corner, I thought it would be a great time to talk about issues that are taxing on the body. Stress and worry about finances cause physical problems that can damage your health. The physical sensations of stress-tense muscles, headaches, migraines, neck pain and unpleasant physical feelings are major elements in the vicious cycle of tension which can have long-term, negative effects on your body. So in lieu of tax day, I'm giving you some holistic healthcare tips to help alleviate these conditions.

Over-Taxed? People who are stressed often reach for the wrong things -- food, alcohol, sleep or drugs -- most of which make them feel worse instead of better. Remember, it's important to take care of yourself when you're feeling pressure. And, there's nothing wrong with a little indulgence as long as it's healthy and something that will genuinely make you feel better! So, when you're stressed, try these alternatives instead:
- go for a walk or exercise
- see a nutritional counselor
- get a massage
- get an adjustment
- see an acupuncturist
